I have a small chip in one of my teeth that needs to be filled, but I do not have dental insurance. Is there anyway that I can sign up for just dental insurance, get my tooth fixed and then cancel the policy.

it’s pre-existing, even if you buy health insurance with dental it WILL NOT likely cover it
insurance is designed that way so people don’t try to take advantage of it, you took a risk and lost, you have to now pay out of pocket, that’s how things work
only work policies allow for pre-existing conditions
